Introducing, Chef Roberta Schablon
The Saucy Fork began in 2010 with a vision to provide the local community with regional produce and introduce them to a wide variety of food.
Chef Roberta Schablon came across an article in the newspaper whilst living in Brisbane in 2006. It was about the Locavore Movement in San Francisco Bay where people purchase produce within 100 mile (160.93kms) radius of where they live.
With Roberta and Craig’s dream of living off the land and to live a sustainable life, Roberta knew she wanted to include the Locavore Movement in her business, but most of all use what was available in the South Burnett.
Roberta is looking forward to working even closer with producers for a fabulous South Burnett food future.
